Curiosity: Living in Today’s Truth

Date: Wednesday, January 21, 2015
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. (PST)

“We cannot live the afternoon of life according to the program of life’s morning; for what was great in the morning will be little at evening, and what in the morning was true will at evening have become a lie.” ~Carl C. Jung

Are you living parts of your life according to ‘yesterday’s truth?’ Do you know? How can you tell? In reality, for various reasons, none of us are one hundred percent current with our present day truths. And for the most part, we are unaware of this fact. On this Group Call, I will be talking about ways we can ‘catch ourselves’ living in the past so we may be more present to ‘today’s truth’ and the invaluable vitality it holds for us. There will be a time of discussion following the teaching. Callers are welcome to join in and share or simply listen in.

Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood. ~Helen Keller

On this call, I will talk about the importance of connecting the dots of the lessons we have lived thus far.

Our Aging Body Carries Our Biography

Date: Wednesday, April 23, 2014
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. (PST)

Our biography is written in the cells of our biology. Beginning with our nervous system, our body carries the burden of varying degrees of trauma that rob us from life-giving energy and impact our health as we Age. On this month’s call, I will talk about how this does not need to be the end of our story.

Returning Home: Wholeness Beyond Life Circumstances

Date: Wednesday, January 15, 2014
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. (PST)

A key element to the healing of what I call the pain of the ages [i.e., unresolved generational pain passed down] is to remember that we are not our circumstance. We are not bound by them; no matter how powerless we may feel in the face of them. The door to freedom opens up when we become consciously aware to the truth: we are born into this temporal world, of time and space, as Soul-centered beings – loved and wholeness bound. By divine design, our lives are a continuous unfoldment of this wholeness. Built into the maturation process [i.e., healing and integration] is the call to keep returning home to our Soul where we can consciously deepen into this truth.

The Spirit of the Mother’s Soul-Care Love

Date: Wednesday, December 11, 2013
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. (PST)

Through my work with women over the years and my own life experience, I have come to understand how absolutely essential the Mother’s Soul-Care Love is not only in our early lives, but in our later years as we journey home through our Aging years. All too often women are well practiced in focusing their Soul-Care Love towards others while their own Soul carries the wounds of a Motherless child. I will be talking about how this needs not to be the end of the story. It is never too late to learn to be our own Loving Soul-Care Mother. The holiday season is a great time to begin to explore this process.

Women’s Words on Aging

Linda Marley

"I’ve been retired for 11 years and I’m 69 years young. I have weathered challenges and lessons in my career and a few in retirement. The learning continues. It’s good to laugh at yourself and keep on trucking. Picture this: me beginning a Jazz dance class at 60. It is a riot. I can’t make a 3 step turn. The music is too darn fast . . ." continue reading

Women’s Words on Aging

Joyce Payne

"I will be 60 years old in November. I am a caregiver for my 91-year- old father and my sisters and I split our time between his house and our houses. This is something we felt we needed to do. My husband recently had minor surgery and I thought about who would take care of me . . . " continue reading

Women’s Words on Aging

Shirley Childs

"When my youngest son left high school, I was 48 and I couldn’t handle it. I convinced myself that I had made a huge sacrifice for my three sons at the expense of my career. I was very resentful; I believed my age was catching up to me and therefore, I was too old to advance in my professional life . . . continue reading
